Greetings, Salutations, and all other friendly ways to say, “Hello!”

My name is Michael Latana.

For the years I’ve owned online journal, I’ve always tried to make myself sound super interesting on this “About Me” page.  I really don’t know what to say anymore that doesn’t make myself look pretentious or lost in the light.

But…  Here it goes…

I find writing to be quite therapeutic and a great release for creative flow.

I claim myself as a percussionist.  I enjoy performing, I enjoy writing fatty drum beatz, and I am honored to have the privilege to help young musicians in their “percussive journey”.

Just like any struggling musician, I also have a legit tax-paying job as a server within the hospitality business.

I’m a dreamer and a hopeful but my heart is battling on whether I stay a romantic or a realist; but no matter what, always an idealist.

I get nostalgic…  a lot.

I love my friends and family very much and I definitely wouldn’t even be close to the man I am if those people didn’t exist.

I really wish I had the ability to fly.

I honestly believe I’ll achieve my life goal of becoming something big.  What is “big”?  Obviously that’s relative, but I’m going to get it.  No doubt.
